Can You Load the Viking Ship Without Tipping It?

Get ready for a tense and hilarious balancing challenge with Viking See-Saw, a clever dexterity game designed by Reiner Knizia. Players take turns loading their Viking ship with luggage, but there’s a catch—the ship is constantly balanced on a pivot, and every piece has a different weight!

Choose your luggage carefully, place it on the raised side of the ship, and try to keep everything balanced. One wrong move can tip the ship and give you extra cargo as a penalty.

🎮 How to Play

1. Set Up the Ship

Place the Viking ship on the table and give each player their set of luggage pieces. The penalty chests are placed on the ship.

2. Choose Your Luggage

On your turn, select one piece of luggage from your supply. The different pieces have different shapes, materials, and real weights, so choosing the right piece is important.

3. Load the Raised Side

Place your chosen luggage on the currently higher side of the ship. You cannot simply choose whichever side you want.

4. Don't Tip the Ship!

If the ship stays balanced, play passes to the next player. But if your placement causes the ship to tip, you receive a penalty chest, adding more cargo to your collection. Any luggage that falls can also become part of your supply.

5. Race to Finish

Continue carefully loading your luggage. The first player to successfully get rid of all their luggage can win immediately.

If the penalty chests run out first, the player with the fewest pieces of luggage remaining wins
