Designed by Bryan Bornmueller, this game combines classic trick-taking mechanics with character-specific objectives, limited communication and a chapter-based adventure. With 18 chapters inspired by Tolkien's story, every game presents new challenges and decisions for the Fellowship.

🎮 How to Play

1. Choose a Chapter

The game is divided into 18 chapters, each representing a different part of the journey. Each chapter introduces its own characters, special rules and objectives.

2. Take on Character Roles

Players are assigned different characters such as Frodo, Gandalf, Sam and Pippin, with each character having a specific condition that must be fulfilled to successfully complete the chapter.

3. Play Tricks

Players take turns playing cards into the center of the table. You generally must follow the suit that was led, with the highest appropriate card winning the trick.

4. Work Together

This is a cooperative game, so everyone wins or loses together. However, communication about the cards in your hand is restricted, forcing the Fellowship to carefully interpret each other's plays.

5. Complete Your Objectives

Winning tricks isn't always the goal. Different characters may have completely different objectives — one character may need to win specific tricks while another may need to avoid winning too many.

6. Complete the Chapter

Successfully accomplish all the required character objectives and special challenges to advance through the story.

The Rings suit introduces special rules, including the powerful 1 of Rings, which can win any trick. Managing when and how these cards are played becomes a crucial part of your strategy.
