š® How to Play
šÆ Objective
Work together as a team of soldiers to survive the war by playing all Trial cards before the Morale deck runs out or the team becomes overwhelmed.
š 1. Set Up the Game
- Give each player a Soldier card.
- Shuffle the Trial deck and Morale deck.
- Deal starting cards according to the rulebook.
- Choose the Mission Leader for the first round.
āļø 2. Begin a Mission
The Mission Leader decides how many Trial cards will be faced during the mission.
š 3. Play Trial Cards
Players take turns playing Trial cards into the center of the table.
Trial cards represent battlefield hardships such as:
- Weather
- Enemy attacks
- Psychological stress
- Dangerous terrain
Players cannot openly discuss the exact cards in their hands, making teamwork and intuition essential.
ā 4. Support Your Team
If the mission becomes too dangerous, players may choose to withdraw.
Players can also use Support actions to:
- Help teammates
- Remove difficult conditions
- Improve the group's chances of survival
š 5. Resolve Hardships
If too many matching threats appear, the mission fails and the team suffers penalties by losing morale or adding more challenges.
š 6. Continue Through Missions
Complete missions while carefully managing resources, morale, and teamwork until one of the game's end conditions is reached.
š 7. Win the Game
The team wins if all Trial cards are successfully completed before the Morale deck is exhausted.
If morale runs out or the team can no longer continue, everyone loses together.
