Build your medieval estate to prosperity in The Castles of Burgundy, a highly strategic board game designed by renowned designer Stefan Feld. Take on the role of a duke in 15th-century Burgundy and carefully develop your princedom through farming, trading, construction, shipping, mining, and scientific development. Roll your dice, plan your actions, place valuable tiles, and create powerful combinations to earn the most Victory Points.

🎲 How to Play

1. Build Your Estate 🏰
   Each player takes control of a personal duchy and begins developing their estate by placing different types of hexagonal tiles.

2. Roll Your Dice 🎲
   At the beginning of each round, players roll their dice. The numbers rolled determine which actions they can perform.

3. Choose Your Actions 🧩
   Use each die result to perform one of several actions:

   • Take a settlement tile from the matching numbered depot.

   • Place a tile from your staging area onto your estate.

   • Deliver goods and gain rewards.

   • Take Worker tiles to modify future dice results.

4. Expand Your Territory 🌾
   Carefully place tiles in matching colored regions of your duchy. Different tile types provide different advantages, such as livestock, ships, buildings, mines, castles, and knowledge.

5. Create Powerful Combos ⚡
   Many tiles trigger special abilities when placed. Use these effects to gain additional actions, money, goods, or Victory Points.

6. Trade & Develop 💰
   Collect and sell goods, gain Silverlings, and use your resources to expand your estate efficiently.

7. Complete Regions 🏆
   Filling regions of your duchy can provide immediate Victory Points and bonus rewards. Planning the order of your placements is essential.

8. Score Victory Points 👑
   After five phases, players calculate their final scores. The player with the most Victory Points wins and becomes the most successful duke of Burgundy.
