Sleeping Queens 2: The Rescue! brings back the beloved queens from the original Sleeping Queens game with a brand-new royal adventure!

This time, the queens have returned home — but the kings are in trouble. Players must use their queens, magical companions, number cards, and special powers to rescue as many kings as possible.

🎯 How to Play

1. 👑 Build Your Realm

Players receive cards and begin building their own realm using queens, number cards, and special cards.

The goal is to collect the right combinations and magical companions needed to rescue kings.

2. 🎲 Roll the Custom Die

At the beginning of your turn, roll the special die.

If you roll a 1, 2, or 3, draw that many cards from the main deck.

If you roll the Dragon, a special sequence occurs:

• 🐉 All players move their Knights one position to the left.
• 👑 You may wake one of your sleeping Queens.
• 🎲 Roll the die again and resolve the new result.

The Dragon can create sudden changes in everyone's strategy.

3. ⚡ Play Instant Action Cards

Special cards can dramatically change the game.

Watch out for:

🧙 Wild Gnome
Provides several useful options, including taking a face-down rescue companion, stealing a card, recovering a queen from the discard pile, or swapping Knights.

🧙♀️ Switch Witch
Allows you to swap companions or cards with another player.

🌿 Sleeping Willow
Puts your Queens back to sleep, turning them face down.

📖 Spell Book
Provides a powerful special effect that can help with your rescue mission.

These cards create plenty of interaction and unexpected surprises.

4. 🐾 Find Rescue Companions

Before a King can be rescued, you need the correct Rescue Companion.

Rescue Companion tiles are hidden around the center of the game.

Your Queens have symbols indicating which type of companion they need.

Find the matching companion and you'll be one step closer to rescuing a King.

5. 👸 Wake Your Queens

Queens begin the adventure asleep.

As you progress, you can wake Queens and place them face up in your realm.

Each Queen has a particular symbol that determines which Rescue Companion can help her complete a rescue.

6. 🔢 Use Number Cards

Number cards can be used to perform mathematical combinations.

The game encourages players to use simple arithmetic to create the required numbers and perform useful actions.

This makes Sleeping Queens 2 a fun way for younger players to practice basic math while playing a competitive game.

7. 🏰 Rescue a King

Once you have the necessary Queen + Rescue Companion combination, you can rescue one of the Kings in the center.

Take the rescued King and place it in your realm.

Rescued Kings cannot be stolen, so once you've successfully completed a rescue, that achievement is safe.

8. 🛡️ Use Your Knight

Each player has a Knight with a special ability.

However, Knights don't necessarily stay with the same player.

Whenever the Dragon appears, the Knights move to the next player, meaning the special ability available to you can change throughout the game.

This creates an additional layer of strategy — sometimes the best move is to take advantage of the Knight power you currently have before it moves away.

9. 👑 Rescue Enough Kings to Win

The number of Kings required to win depends on the number of players:

• 2 Players: Rescue 4 Kings
• 3–4 Players: Rescue 3 Kings
• 5 Players: Rescue 2 Kings

The first player to rescue the required number of Kings wins the game and becomes the royal hero!
