How to Play

1. Choose Your Explorer 👤
   Each player selects an explorer and their character board, then enters the mysterious House on the Hill.
2. Explore the House 🏚️
   Move through the mansion and discover new rooms as you explore. The modular tiles create a different house layout from game to game.
3. Resolve Events & Discoveries 👻
   New rooms can trigger Events, Items, and Omens. These encounters can change your character’s abilities and gradually increase the tension.
4. Trigger the Haunt 🔮
   As players discover Omens, the Haunt may begin. One player can become the Traitor, while the remaining explorers must work together to survive.
5. Follow the Scenario 📖
   The Haunt determines the story, objectives, special rules, and victory conditions. There are 50 different Haunts, giving the game a wide variety of scenarios.
6. Fight to Survive ⚔️
   The Traitor and any monsters pursue their objectives while the other explorers attempt to complete theirs. Everyone must use their abilities, items, and teamwork strategically.
7. Determine the Winner 🏆
   The game ends when one side fulfills the conditions of the Haunt. Will the explorers survive—or will the House claim another victim?
