🎮 How to Play

1. Prepare Your Palace

Each player receives a personal player board. Arrange the factories, colourful acrylic tiles, scoring components and pattern plates according to the rulebook.

2. Choose Your Tiles

On your turn, select tiles of the same colour from a factory or the central playing area. Consider which tiles you need and which ones your opponent might be waiting for.

3. Plan Your Pattern

Azul Duel introduces pattern plates that let you influence how tiles are arranged on your board. Choose their placement carefully to create scoring opportunities.

4. Place and Stack Tiles

Use your selected tiles to build patterns and decorate your palace ceiling. Managing tile placement efficiently is essential to earning points.

5. Earn Bonus Points

Complete useful patterns and work towards the available scoring objectives. Watch your opponent's progress and adjust your strategy as the board develops.

6. Finish the Duel

The game is played over five rounds. After the final round, apply the end-game scoring objectives and bonus points. The player with the highest total score wins!
